User Instructions

1. The application is for demonstrative purposes only and is not approved for clinical use until further notice. See Disclaimer. As such it is in the form of an applet which wil take some time to load. The Expert system is ready when a question appears awaiting user response eg "Enter regimen: [1,2,3,4]"
2. Enter the regimen of interest to you. [Return]
3. Enter the insulin doses when prompted.
4. Enter blood gucose readings. If the value is not known you have the option of entering u, though any invalid entry will give the same response. An attempt to estimate the blood glucose level at that time will be made based based on available symptoms.
5. If the preceding stages have been completed the user will be presented with:
   • Advise when next follow up should be
   • Advise which Insulin doses should be changed
   • Advise patients overall Glycaemic control
